About The Opportunity

JDL Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with a leading data centre developer as they look to expand their team with a Senior Contracts Manager in France.
This is a permanent position.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the drafting, review and management of vendor, main contract, subcontract and consultant service agreements across data centre construction projects valued between AED 100m and AED 2bn.
  • Lead contract negotiations with vendors, main contractors, subcontractors and consultants to secure favourable terms and appropriate risk allocation.
  • Own the identification, evaluation and recommendation of contract changes, variations and claims, ensuring compliance with change control processes.
  • Identify and assess risks linked to contractual terms and project conditions, developing mitigation strategies for leadership review.
  • Develop and lead strategies for dispute avoidance and resolution, including claims and potential litigation.
  • Manage vendor and contractor relationships, providing visibility of contractual performance across the portfolio.

Requirements:

  • 20+ years' relevant professional experience, including delivery of data centres or other complex engineering projects across the full project life cycle.
  • Relevant bachelor's degree, with a relevant professional qualification or chartered status.
  • In-depth expert knowledge of contract management, construction processes and commercial management.
  • Experience with client-side delivery of both pre- and post-contract commercial activities.
  • Experience working on global projects within multi-cultural project teams.
