About The Opportunity
JDL Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with a leading European data centre delivery specialist as they look to expand their team with a CSA Engineer in Sines, Portugal.
This is a permanent, full-time position based on site in Sines. The role offers a competitive salary package within a major European data centre programme.
Responsibilities:
- Support the delivery of Civil, Structural, and Architectural works on site, coordinating with the CSA construction team and subcontractors
- Review drawings, specifications, and technical documentation to ensure compliance with project requirements
- Manage RFIs and technical queries, coordinating timely responses with the design team
- Monitor CSA works progress and report to the Construction Manager, identifying and flagging risks to the programme
- Ensure QA/QC processes are followed on site, carrying out inspections and maintaining accurate records
- Assist in the preparation and review of method statements, inspection and test plans, and technical submittals
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a similar discipline
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a site engineering role on large-scale construction projects
- Good understanding of civil, structural, and architectural construction methods and standards
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Data centre or mission-critical project experience is advantageous
