JDL Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with a leading European data centre delivery specialist as they look to expand their team with an Electrical Construction Manager in Sines, Portugal.
This is a permanent, full-time position based on site in Sines. The role offers a competitive salary package with career progression and professional development supported.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all electrical construction activities across the project lifecycle, from installation through to snagging close-out
- Lead day-to-day electrical site operations in coordination with the wider project team
- Manage electrical subcontractor performance, including progress tracking, manpower levels, and coordination meetings
- Ensure QA/QC processes are maintained in line with project specifications and electrical standards
- Liaise with the design team to ensure technical submittals and construction information are issued in line with programme requirements
- Support commercial management by tracking variations, managing costs, and attending weekly commercial meetings
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a similar discipline
- Minimum 8 years' experience in electrical construction with a focus on site management
- Proven experience managing HV/LV distribution, containment systems, and associated electrical works on large-scale projects
- Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, coordination, and programme delivery
- Data centre, industrial, or mission-critical project experience is advantageous
- Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills
