About The Opportunity
JDL Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with a leading European data centre delivery specialist as they look to expand their team with an Electrical Project Manager in Sines, Portugal.
This is a permanent, full-time position based on site in Sines. The role offers a competitive salary package with career progression and professional development supported.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the overall delivery of electrical works on site, from installation through to commissioning handover
- Coordinate electrical subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers to ensure works are delivered safely, on programme, and within budget
- Track electrical programme progress against milestones, identifying risks and managing delays proactively
- Liaise with the design team to manage RFIs, technical submittals, and design changes related to electrical works
- Attend and lead site meetings, engineering reviews, and client progress meetings
- Support commercial management by tracking variations, managing costs, and attending weekly commercial meetings
Requirements:
- Minimum 8 years' experience in electrical project management within large-scale construction
- Strong technical knowledge of HV/LV distribution, containment systems, and electrical installation
- Proven ability to manage subcontractors and coordinate multidisciplinary project activities
- Excellent programme management, commercial awareness, and stakeholder management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant project management tools
- Data centre or mission-critical project experience is advantageous
