JDL Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with a leading European data centre delivery specialist as they look to expand their team with an Electrical Supervisor in Sines, Portugal.
This is a permanent, full-time position based on site in Sines. The role offers a competitive salary package within a major European data centre programme.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise all electrical installation works on site, ensuring activities are carried out safely, to specification, and in line with the programme
- Manage and coordinate electrical subcontractor trades, including progress monitoring and manpower management
- Inspect completed electrical works and ensure QA/QC sign-off is completed at each stage
- Identify and resolve technical issues on site, escalating to the Electrical Construction Manager where required
- Attend daily coordination meetings and toolbox talks, maintaining safety standards across the electrical works
- Ensure all electrical documentation, including test records and inspection reports, is accurately completed and maintained
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in electrical supervision on large-scale construction or data centre projects
- Relevant electrical trade qualification and supervisor certification
- Strong knowledge of LV distribution, containment, and electrical installation standards
- Good understanding of QA/QC processes and the ability to manage subcontractor compliance
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- Data centre or mission-critical project experience is advantageous
