About The Opportunity
JDL Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with a leading European data centre delivery specialist as they look to expand their team with a Logistics Supervisor in Sines, Portugal.
This is a permanent, full-time position based on site in Sines. The role offers a competitive salary package within a major European data centre programme.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate all site logistics operations, including materials delivery, storage, and distribution across the project site
- Maintain and enforce site traffic management plans, ensuring safe and efficient movement of vehicles and plant
- Coordinate deliveries with subcontractors, suppliers, and the site management team to avoid programme conflicts
- Manage laydown areas, compound layouts, and materials storage in line with project requirements
- Monitor and report on logistics performance, identifying and resolving issues that may impact programme delivery
- Ensure all logistics activities comply with site health and safety requirements
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a logistics or site coordination role on a large-scale construction project
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deliveries and movements simultaneously
- Good understanding of site traffic management, plant coordination, and materials handling
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- Relevant health and safety qualifications (e.g. CSCS, SMSTS, or equivalent)
- Data centre or mission-critical project experience is advantageous
