JDL Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with a leading European data centre delivery specialist as they look to expand their team with a Mechanical Package Manager in Sines, Portugal.
This is a permanent, full-time position based on site in Sines. The role offers a competitive salary package within a major European data centre programme.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the coordination, delivery, and installation of assigned mechanical packages across the project
- Review and progress technical submittals, drawings, and documentation for mechanical systems
- Coordinate with site construction teams, vendors, and consultants to ensure packages are delivered in line with the programme
- Track package progress, identify risks, and escalate delays to the Mechanical Project Manager
- Attend vendor and coordination meetings, providing regular package status updates
- Ensure QA/QC requirements are met across all mechanical package works
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in package management or engineering coordination within mechanical construction
- Good technical knowledge of mechanical systems including HVAC and piping
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple packages simultaneously
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- Data centre or mission-critical project experience is advantageous
