About The Opportunity
JDL Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with a leading European data centre delivery specialist as they look to expand their team with an MEP Lead in Sines, Portugal.
This is a permanent, full-time position based on site in Sines. The role offers a competitive salary package and the chance to lead MEP delivery across one of the most significant data centre programmes in Europe.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the overall delivery of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing works across the project site, coordinating all MEP subcontractors and ensuring works are executed safely, on programme, and to specification
- Interface with the CSA, commissioning, and design teams to manage MEP integration and coordination across all disciplines
- Oversee the MEP programme, tracking progress against milestones and reporting to the Project Director
- Attend and lead MEP coordination meetings, engineering reviews, and client progress meetings
- Drive quality and safety performance across all MEP activities, ensuring QA/QC standards are maintained throughout
- Identify and resolve technical, design, and coordination issues across MEP disciplines
Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years' experience in MEP construction management on large-scale projects
- Proven track record leading MEP delivery on data centre, industrial, or mission-critical projects
- Strong technical knowledge across mechanical and electrical systems and their integration
- Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Experience managing multiple subcontractors simultaneously across a complex project environment
- Data centre experience is strongly preferred
