About The Opportunity
JDL Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with a leading European data centre delivery specialist as they look to expand their team with an OFCI Project Manager in Sines, Portugal.
This is a permanent, full-time position based on site in Sines. The role offers a competitive salary package and the opportunity to manage complex equipment delivery on one of Europe's largest active data centre programmes.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the full lifecycle delivery of Owner Furnished Contractor Installed (OFCI) equipment packages across the project
- Coordinate procurement, scheduling, delivery, and installation readiness for all OFCI items in line with the programme
- Liaise with the client's procurement and logistics teams to manage long-lead equipment delivery schedules
- Track and report on OFCI package status, identifying risks and driving resolution of delays
- Coordinate with construction, commissioning, and design teams to ensure OFCI equipment is installed and integrated on schedule
- Manage vendor relationships, review technical submittals, and attend coordination and progress meetings
Requirements:
- Minimum 8 years' experience in project management within construction or data centre delivery
- Proven experience managing OFCI or complex equipment procurement and installation packages
- Strong understanding of construction programme management and supply chain coordination
- Excellent communication, organisational, and stakeholder management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant project management tools
- Data centre or mission-critical project experience is advantageous
