About The Opportunity
JDL Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with a leading European data centre delivery specialist as they look to expand their team with a Quality Lead in Sines, Portugal.
This is a permanent, full-time position based on site in Sines. The role offers a competitive salary package and the opportunity to lead quality delivery on one of Europe's largest active data centre programmes.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain the project Quality Management Plan in line with client and regulatory requirements
- Lead and coordinate all quality assurance and quality control activities across civil, structural, MEP, and commissioning works
- Conduct site inspections, audits, and NCR management, driving close-out through to resolution
- Review and approve inspection and test plans, method statements, and technical submittals
- Liaise with the client's quality team, third-party inspectors, and certification bodies
- Report on quality performance, identifying trends and driving continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements:
- Minimum 8 years' experience in a quality management role within large-scale construction or data centre projects
- Professional qualification in quality management (e.g. CQI, ASQ, or equivalent)
- Thorough knowledge of ISO 9001 and relevant construction quality standards
- Experience managing NCR and defect tracking systems on complex, multi-discipline projects
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Data centre or mission-critical construction experience is preferred
