JDL Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with a data centre developer delivering projects across Europe as they look to expand their team with a Senior Sourcing Manager based in Dubai.
This is a permanent position based in Dubai, overseeing procurement and sourcing for projects across Europe. The role offers a competitive salary and package commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the implementation of strategic project procurement goals, policies, processes and controls.
- Develop and implement strategic tender plans, ensuring effective delivery of commercial objectives alongside the finance function.
- Conduct market and supply chain identification, pre-qualifying vendors and providing recommendation reports.
- Lead the tender management process, including negotiation, evaluation and contract award across all packages.
- Maintain procurement governance and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide leadership and direction to procurement teams and internal stakeholders.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years in a senior procurement or sourcing role, with previous data centre experience essential.
- UAE experience is essential, with wider Middle East or international exposure an advantage.
- Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Business Administration, Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
- CIPS qualification preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of procurement processes, particularly tender management and reporting.
- Strong understanding of construction techniques and the full construction lifecycle.
- Proficient in MS 365 and ERP systems.
