About The Opportunity

JDL Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with a leading data centre developer as they look to expand their team with a Project Controls Manager in Italy.
This is a permanent position.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of project planning, reporting and governance strategy across a large-scale data centre campus programme.
  • Establish the Work Breakdown Structure, coding framework and programme-wide master schedule aligned with contractual and company standards.
  • Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning teams to develop, maintain and optimise detailed project schedules.
  • Lead critical path analysis, scenario modelling and schedule risk assessments to support strategic decision-making.
  • Develop progress measurement systems and KPI reporting, validating contractor and subcontractor progress submissions.
  • Drive the adoption of digital planning tools and reporting platforms, including P6, Power BI and Primavera Analytics.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years' relevant professional experience, including delivery of data centres or other complex engineering projects across the full project life cycle.
  • Relevant bachelor's degree, with a relevant professional qualification or chartered status.
  • Proven record managing programming and reporting within large-scale construction, infrastructure or data centre environments.
  • Proficiency in P6, MS Project, BIM 360, AutoCAD, Revit or Procore.
  • Working knowledge of MS Power BI/Power Apps and SharePoint, alongside advanced Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong report writing, presentation and stakeholder communication skills.
