About The Opportunity
JDL Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with a hyperscale, AI and cloud-focused data centre platform business, delivering large-scale digital infrastructure across Europe, as they look to expand their team with a Programme Director.
This is a permanent position, flexible across Europe, working closely with the CEO organisation to oversee delivery across multiple projects and campuses. The role offers a competitive package commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and own the delivery programme across multiple projects and campuses, from concept through to operational handover.
- Develop and maintain the master programme, ensuring alignment across design, procurement, construction and commissioning workstreams.
- Manage interfaces between engineering, design, delivery, commercial and operations teams to keep the programme on track.
- Identify and mitigate programme risk, escalating critical issues to executive leadership.
- Oversee reporting on programme status, cost and schedule performance to the CTO and senior stakeholders.
- Support the standardisation of delivery processes across the platform for repeatable, multi-campus rollout.
Requirements:
- 10 or more years' experience in programme or project management within mission-critical infrastructure, ideally with data centre delivery experience.
- Track record of managing multi-project or multi-campus delivery programmes from concept through to handover.
- Strong understanding of design, construction and commissioning interfaces within complex technical projects.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience reporting to executive leadership and investors.
- Professional certification such as PMP, MSP, PRINCE2 or equivalent is desirable.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, platform-scale environment with significant ambiguity.
