About The Opportunity

JDL Recruitment are excited to be partnering with a leading global digital infrastructure provider as they appoint a Global Head of Engineering to own engineering standards and delivery across a large international data centre programme.

Responsibilities

  • Hold engineering authority across the full project lifecycle, including MEP and civil, structural and architectural.
  • Own and develop the Global Reference Design for use across new developments.
  • Lead a team of specialist engineering subject matter experts across Europe, Japan and India.
  • Support delivery of a development pipeline of around 800MW.
  • Set technical standards, review designs and resolve technical risk across regions.
  • Work with development, construction and operations leadership to align design with delivery and cost.

Requirements

  • Significant senior data centre engineering leadership experience across multiple regions.
  • Strong MEP and CSA knowledge, ideally with hyperscale or colocation delivery.
  • Experience managing and developing specialist engineering teams.
  • Chartered Engineer status or equivalent.
  • Willingness to travel internationally.
