About The Opportunity
JDL Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with a leading data centre developer as they look to expand their team with a Contract Senior Manager (Construction) in the UAE.
This is a permanent role leading cost and commercial management on data centre programmes valued between AED 100m and AED 2bn, with a competitive salary and benefits package.
Responsibilities:
- Lead cost and commercial management from inception to completion
- Implement procurement processes and draft, review and manage commercial contracts
- Support vendor and subcontractor negotiations to secure favourable terms and risk allocation
- Develop budgets and cash forecasts with key stakeholders
- Manage variations, claims, contractor payments and final accounts
- Identify contractual risks and support dispute avoidance and resolution
- Provide strategic commercial support to senior leadership
Requirements:
- 10+ years’ experience delivering data centres or complex engineering projects across the full lifecycle
- Relevant degree and professional qualification or chartered status
- Client-side pre- and post-contract cost and commercial experience
- Strong commercial acumen and stakeholder management skills
- Experience on global projects with multicultural teams
- Advanced MS Excel skills
