JDL Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with a leading international data centre contractor on their search for an experienced Project Manager to join their team in Milan, Italy.
This is a senior delivery role responsible for leading end-to-end construction on a brand new hyperscale data centre project for a major technology client, from mobilisation through to handover.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead full project delivery ensuring programme, cost and quality targets are met throughout
- Manage and coordinate all subcontractors, consultants and specialist teams across the project
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the client, maintaining strong relationships throughout delivery
- Drive programme management, identifying risks early and implementing mitigation strategies
- Oversee health, safety and environmental compliance across all site activities
- Provide regular progress reporting to senior leadership and support the commercial team on change management
Requirements
- Proven experience managing data centre or mission-critical construction projects end to end
- Strong programme management, subcontractor coordination and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience working for a main contractor in an international or fast-paced delivery environment
- Solid understanding of the full construction lifecycle from mobilisation to RFS handover
- Italian market experience is advantageous but not essential
- Willingness to be based in Milan, Italy on a project basis

- €100,000 to €130,000 basic salary (depending on experience)
